Astrology, sexuality, environmental issues, politics, art, metaphysics and the quest for wholeness: these are a few of the themes we will be covering in the Conversations series from Planet Waves, to be held each Thursday night, continuing February 28.
Held via live teleconference, Eric will host an internationally-available evening where, for 90 minutes, we can speculate, ask questions, seek information, argue, get passionate, create the universe and make contact with one another. Participants will have a chance to interact with Eric and other Planet Waves readers and writers, as well as discuss your ideas and experiences with Eric and his guests. Or, you can just listen.
The format is a round-table discussion, an unusual chance to speak your mind and hear others do the same. We strongly encourage readers from Europe, Japan and the Southern Hemisphere to get yourself calling cards and join the discussion. We want to hear from you!
The series will be limited in participation to about 20 people per session. The admission for the evening is $22, which will go toward sponsoring Eric's writing on Planet Waves and beyond. Participants will be subscribed to a special (short) monthly Planet Waves newsletter, updating them on the conversations series and other news items. For those who don't have the cash, we are offering several scholarships each week -- so write to us and ask.
Payment is by credit card only at this point (it that's a problem for you, email anyway). Here's how it works. If you would like to reserve a spot, initiate contact by emailing us here. The email needs to include your full name, address, your two best contact phone numbers and weekend call-back hours. We will speak to you, get any necessary information, and provide you with a confirmation number and access numbers and easy directions for the conference. Then, at the scheduled time, you call in, and the fun, or rather that particular fun, begins.
